The Adventures of Superman TV Show Introduction

The first live-action TV show featuring Superman began in 1952, running in syndication until 1958. The black and white show, which was later broadcast in color, pitted Superman against the mob and various criminals. It starred George Reeves as Superman/Clark Kent. Phyllis Coates played Lois Lane from 1952 until 1953, and was replaced by Noel Neill from 1953 until the end of the show in 1958. The show also featured Jack Larson as Jimmy Olsen and John Hamilton as Perry White. Check out the video above for the classic Adventures of Superman TV show introduction.
